Chile is a long strip of land, 180km wide and 4500km long between the Pacific and the Andes. To the north lies the Atacama desert, one of the most arid regions of the world, while Santiago, the capital, has a temperate climate conducive to viticulture. Further south, you will find the snowy forests of the Lake District and beyond, glaciers, majestic peaks and villages in the Chilean Patagonia.

Antofagasta is the main port in northern Chile, located in the region to which it gave its name. In the North west and in the Atacama desert , is located the small village of San Pedro de Atacama. The small village of Caldera at the edge of a peaceful local tourism attracts each summer. The Chiloe's island in the south off Puerto Montt, has retained all its traditions. Cohayque is a must to go the southern route. A nearly 3700km of Chilean ratings found on Easter Island and its mysterious Moai. Iquique is the other major northern port. La Serena is one of the oldest cities of Chile. The famous Chilean Pisco comes from the Elqui Valley. Chile's capital Santiago is today is of great economic center of Latin America. The mythical port of Valparaiso since 2003 has its historical center declared heritage of humanity. Vina del Mar, the next town is considered the wealthy sister of Valparaiso. Puerto Varas, is perhaps the most beautiful cities in Chile! Coyhaique is often called "the city of eternal snow." Patagonia is home to a park that regrouppe all landscapes that can count this region, the Torres del Paine park.
